Cosmic Art Show Soars on First Friday!

Thank you to all who joined us for the Opening Reception of our new Community Art Show at the St. Mary’s County Gallery & Gift Shop!

Cosmic Connections: Looking Through Space opened on First Friday, November 1, 2024, and runs through Saturday, November 30th. We had a full gallery, including many of the artists plus visitors pictured below!

We would like to extend a note of appreciation to the members of COSMIC Symphony for playing beautiful music at our reception!

This exhibit has brought together over 30 local artists to explore the wonders of the cosmos through their creative works.

A diverse range of art pieces have been curated, from paintings and sculptures, to digital art and mixed media (and more!). All of the submissions have been inspired by the beauty and mysteries of outer space. Visitors can expect to be transported to distant planets, encounter alien creatures, and witness celestial events in a vibrant and immersive display of artistic expression.

Located in the heart of Leonardtown’s Arts & Entertainment district, the gallery is open from 11 AM to 4 PM Wednesday to Saturday.
