Having an intern at the St. Mary's County Arts Council Gallery & Gift Shop has proven to be a mutually beneficial experience. Our interns from engage with the community, gaining insights into the importance of local connections while learning the intricacies of operating a gallery space. Over the semester, they develop valuable administrative skills, from coordinating events to managing inventory, all while contributing fresh perspectives to our initiatives. This partnership not only enriches the interns’ educational journey but also enhances our ability to support and promote the local arts scene.
